Having had a yorkie with irritable bowel syndrome for the past 8 years it certainly sounds to me as if your little guy has some problems. You should take him to the vet ASAP. If caught early enough irritable bowel syndrome can be successfully treated.

Here is one suggestion, only feed your dog one type of dog food, absolutely no human food, and only use one type of treat, use his/her dog food as treats. NO rawhides, chewies, etc.

The sounds you hear are bowel sounds, same as we humans get when we our tummies aren't happy. Your little guy may be allergic to whatever it is you are feeding him and the vet may suggest a change in diet. If you restrict his intake to only one type of dog food ruling out what he is allergic too will be much easeir on you and your pup in the long run.

Do not use immodium on a regular basis as you will drastically upset the dog's natural bowel cycle. Only use immodium if your dog has severe diahhrea and even then only on the advice of your vet.
