Do you suppose Tori's pug would feel loved if it did NOT have that bracelet? Or if the dog didn't get to go to the specialty spa for its bath would it feel like its parents didn't care about it.. Heaven forbid that the dog would have to get a bath in the kitchen sink and be dried with mommie's hair dryer...
I am sorry but "stuff" doesn't say "love and caring" to me. I know I am equating dogs and human kids and that might offend some one. If it does, I apologize. |
I agree with you Whispersmom, material things don't count as love. Whether it would be for your children or your pets.
I certainly wasn't spoiled as a kid. My parents were very young when they had me ( both of them 18), and so for alot of years they struggled just to give me the bare necessities. But I always knew they loved me, and would do anything for me. And I also knew that if they had the money they would like to treat me to some special things, and they have managed to do that as time has gone by. It's just nice to know that you can have to extra's if you can afford it.
