I make mine out of satin or a soft, thin knit (like the knit used for wrapping jackets). It's quite easy. Make a loose fitting tube and with tiny "baby" elastic at both ends. It should be tight enough to hold back the hair but not so tight that it is uncomfortable and the dog works to get it off.
