So sorry about your loss. I'm glad you have one to survive. It sounds like mom is just too small structurely (not necessarily weight wise). I've delivered a litter like that. The second one had his head stuck and his body out. I knew we were in trouble and went to a vet. She delivered him on the way but I watched him die before he was really actually born. It doesn't take very long at all. I saved the other one that had been delivered a little more quickly than he but he was also stuck.
It's just devestating, I've learned not to breed a mom like that, unless one plans for a c-section. I'd never want pups to have to go through that at my hand.
