I used to hate doctors, when I was 18 I was misdiagnosed with a genetic disease that would lead to blindness, they tried treating me for it for about 2 years, lectured me on how the disease will progress until I loose my sight etc..
Then my parents insisted on a second opinion, in the end... I didn't have what they said I had, but it had progressed worse due to the treatment I should not have been on!. Now it's more under control and good thing is, I will keep my sight
Bad news is, I spent 2 years miserable thinking I was going to go blind and there was nothing I could do about it, so after those 2 years, i didn't trust any doctors, I actually hated them... but I was young too.
Now I love my doctors, I go to Bascom Palmer eye institute, and they're the greatest doctors I've ever had!.
But when I was 18, I did hate them lol.
