Thanks so much for your reply. I am already being very patient with her and why wouldn't I be? She has been my baby since I got her in S.Carolina; hence, the name 'Dixie'. Yes, I know about follow up with drugs--and would always do that. She hasn't come in contact with anyone different at all or any new animals. She and I live alone and I am extremely protective of her. Gosh, how I have wracked my brain to try and understand what is making her so fearful that all she does is growl, snarl and attack ME. And make no bones about it--it is in this house ONLY and with ME only. I will find out much more tomorrow when I see the vet-behaviorist--I HOPE, I HOPE. THANKS AGAIN for your suggestions. Do you know how I can get Dixiei's photo on my responses? I have four photos of her in the gallery but dont know how to put one by all of my responses. Nite and thanks. |
