I took Lexie to the vet today and he said Yorkies are known for bad teeth and bad breath. He suggested I put her on the special food. Made by Science Diet. But I decided to keep her on Canidae kibble. Before I adopted her she was on homecooked/soft food, so I thought that was part of the problem. The vet said brush her teeth every day. I sure hope it helps.
