It's amazing how much life the pups have brought into the household. We got Puddin' to keep my hubby (who's disabled) company in December. However, Yorkies appear to be as bad as potato chips: you can't have just one - so we got a little girl in late January. Two puppies: lottsa life and tusslin', chasin' and fun.

Today, my 12 year old grandson (who's staying with us right now) got his birthday present: an 8 week old Westie pup to honor the memory of our beloved Jax. Now there are three - the two Yorkies flank the Westie and look like a giant Oreo cookie .

My heart aches for my lost friends - I cried on the way home from the breeder's, remembering a ride home oh-so-long-ago with *another* white bundle of fur and kisses.

But it's a very good thing, the life and love that these little bundles bring to our house: it's a HOME again.
