Welcome to YorkieTalk! There are soo many things to learn and so many different variables with this breed that I think it's an ongoing learning process. My suggestion is to just go through the threads on here, use the search button, and pick up whatever books you can about Yorkies. Also, google dog grooming/health, Yorkie grooming/health, YTCA (Yorkshire Terriers Club of America), or just post a question. Unlike other breeds these Yorkies have different kinds of coats (not just in color) so taking care of them is trial and error. I know I have some sites that I found helpful and when I find them again I'll post them!
