I personally do not care for the color and coat texture in the pictures that were posted. Nor do I think that is a correct Dark steel blue coat...Dark black maybe...but not blue. I have never really cared for the line, and have kept it from our dogs pedigrees. I have seen and went over dogs from this breeder and dogs 2 generations out, all were soft coated, none were silky. I have seen a few in pictures which appeared silky. I also know a couple people who have talked to him and said he was a joy to talk to...I think it is great when breeders help novices inquiring about the breed and showing.

I do not think blanket statements can be made about any group of people...

I would take a way too light silk coat over incorrect texture, but that is me and the decision I would make with my dogs. We do have one soft coated dog, she was carefully bred to a dog which does not have any soft coats in his direct 3 generations...her structure however is to die for and she has everything else!
