Hi all,

I would appreciate any information or suggestions you might make after reading my post. I am looking into getting a Yorkie. I live alone (with my Quaker Parrot) in an apt. in the city... I am hoping to have a dog that I can take with me when I am out -- he/she will be coming with me wherever I go as often as possible. Which leads me to a question -- do any of you ever take your dogs in public places such as the conveinience store, marts like Target (I'm sure grocery stores wouldn't allow it)? How do the mart attendants respond, if so?
Can you guys tell me a little bit about what care is required? I've had dogs in my past, so I understand they are quite dependant. That's not an issue for me. But my thing is that I must be out and about doing things, so it would be coming on many adventures with me. This isn't likely to upset pup is it?
