I personally have a rule of thumb not to feed this to breeding females. Nutro is high in glucosamine and there have not been any long term tests to prove that it safe in diets for prego/nursing dogs. (The liquid Gluc. supplement I use even has that warning printed on the side.) Not sure if there is any connection w/ your situation. Just something to think about...
