Baxter was 1 1/2 when I got Chloe (she was a puppy when I got her). Baxter was at the point where he plays and everything, but not quite like a puppy. He's settled down a little. Had I thought about it before, I would have gotten them close together. She just drives him nuts because she is still a puppy. She picks on him CONSTANTLY and it drives my poor baby crazy.
And he is VERY jealous of her. He loves her and when she wimpers or something, he is RIGHT there (she HATES getting a bath and Baxter knows this. He will stand AT the bathroon door until she comes out).
They are little sweeties and I love them both. I just think it would have been a little easier on Baxter if they were closer in age.
