Some people are simply sensitive to it (ie just "made" that way); for others, like me, I naturally have low blood pressure - so sometimes I'll stand up and have to stop for a few moments, and maybe even dip my head upside down to get some blood in there (LOL). But, there could be other underlying issues too - like blood isn't circulating properly (vessel and/or valvular issue) or the chambers aren't talking properly (atria/ventricles out of sync, but less likely). Usually, the causes are quite benign in nature, which is good. Once you're in Med School (soon, right?) - you'll be able too tell us so much more than me, girl! (btw, are you a runner/athlete? If so, perhaps you used to have low blood pressure - resulting in the occasional drops)
