I know just how you feel. Lola is 5.5 months old and her breath is awful as well. She is just teething. It is very normal. Also, Have you checked for double teeth? Sometimes they don't lose some of their baby teeth and it can cause their breath to stink. Several of my parents' dogs have had this same problem. I hope that helps!
