If she had any puppies that have been paritialy reabsorbed or died for some reason she still may go into labor and deliver what is left of any fetus...Any puppies that may have died before they calcified will not show up on an xray and it would be difficult to see on an ultrasound if fluid around puppies has diminished...You will want to keep a very close eye on her for any signs of infection or labor...Keep taking her temp...Any temp above 103 call your vet!...A normal temp is 101.5...A normal pregnancy temp on average is 99-100...Most will have a two degree drop, 97-98, and stay there for 12-24 hours..It is not until the temp goes back to normal will stage 2 labor begin...
