If there was a pup and it has or is being reabsorbed there could be a discharge. There would be signs of pregnancy in the beginning including weight gain which would suddenly cease. Weight would slowly begin to decrease and signs of pregnancy would disappear. My gal had a clear discharge and her vulva and mammory glands stayed swollen for quite some time. Watch for elevated temp and a foul smell to the discharge as this would indicate infection.
