My yorkie Bella is 1 1/2 years old and we just recently added kittens to our little family. At first the cats scared the crap out of Bella, but as she has become more comfortable she actually plays with them now. By plays I mean chase them around with her tail wagging and barking at them. She will also grab one of her toys and go up to them and shake it like crazy. I don't think she understands that they are cats and cats do not "play" like she does. I think it is absolutly hilarious to watch and completely harmless. As long as your cats arn't being terrorized I say let it go. They will learn their boundries, weather it is the cats swating at the puppy or the pup nipping back at them. It sounds like they get along and that is a great thing. Soon they will all loose interest. The other great thing about cats is they can jump up somewhere and get away if they really want to.
