Makes perfect sense to me. And one of the greatest Christian writers - C. S. Lewis - wrote the Narnia books for children, and they were full of magic and witches etc., but they taught values - Christian values in a way that children understand and enjoy. Children learn from their parents how to understand any literature.
I think the most wonderful thing that the HP books have done for children all over the world is it makes them want to read. Once they enjoy reading, they'll read everything and that's a wonderful thing for everybody. |
