You can go to the vet and take in a stool sample. The vet should be able to look at the sample and tell you what type of eggs they see. Prob. a round or whipp worm. Anyway they will give you a pill to take and then another in a couple of weeks sometimes followed by another stool sample. Is your pup on HW med's? Most HW med will prevent intestinal parasites. Just so you know most worms are in the enviroment so it is a pretty common thing. Just another thing to try to prevent. All should be fine. |
