the instructions from my vet was that i keep her limited to going outside for 10-15 mins on a short leash to go potty only 3 - 4 times a day for the first 2 weeks.. then weeks 3 and 4 can be done up to 6 times a day continuing to do this with no explosive movements for 8 weeks so no running and no jumping. We keep her in her crate only when we can't hold her or snuggle with her... she's actually doing better than i thought... she cries sometimes, but stops when we don't approach her... love her to death!
