 Chi's
I went to the fairgrounds dog show a few weeks ago and they had a Chi rescue table set up. One of the rescues was almost hairless...they said it was mange and it was awful looking. His skin was leathery. They had successfully treated him, but the hair may not return. He scratched alot and there were sores..honestly I think that poor dog should have been put down, he looked miserable.
They said as soon as he was stable they were placing him for adoption...I may sound hard hearted, but he looked like a pack of vet bills for the new owner.
I don't think I would take a dog with a skin problem..I am not convinced about the stress factor. |
