Thanks for the help. I'm not sure if she quiets down after we leave. But we have noticed that if she goes potty in the cage while we're gone if is all over everything by the time we get back, so I suspect that she doesn't ever settle down. We'll try leaving the TV on for her and see if this makes a difference. Also I will try covering the crate to see if that will make her feel more secure.
