I was a patient of his at the time of his death. We (NYC area) had a late spring snow/ice storm, and he slipped on some ice on the sidewalk in front of his clinic. He split his head open, was in a coma for a couple of weeks and then passed.
I saw in the media about how fat he was at his death and how bad his heart was etc. I don't know what happened once he went into the coma, but I can assure you that 2 weeks before he fell he was fit, sharp as a tack and NOT FAT!!!
I've always wondered how old he would have lived to be had he not fallen...
