I honestly don't think she meant to offend silky owners. But she is a breeder, and she breeds yorkies. If someone is on here saying one of her dogs is not a yorkie, it's like saying something negative about her breeding program.
Personally, I'm going to guess that Hannahs mom just meant that her yorkie has a silkie coat and didn't get it, or that she has been misinformed by someone. I hope that this works out for all involved, and that if there is a problem between these two that it is dealt with on another thread, so that yours can stay as a wonderful reminder of your first days with your new furkid.
