Animal Smiley 049 better safe than sorry

I have both my dogs microchipped. Why? well, why not?
I have not seen any proof not to do so.

When I was 5 my mom took me to a police fair and had me fingerprinted.
Why? Just in case (Heaven forbid) I got lost, abducted or hurt and had no ID on me as a child.

I would hate to have anything happen to my dogs, but at least with the microchip implanted,
if someone else claims that my babies are their babies, I can fight them with legal recourse.

Is it not likely my dogs will get away without any ID tags on them, no. But there is always a slim chance.

Cars have VINs, I know that is not a living thing, but there is a reason we need to prove things belong to us.

Yes, it is a personal choice. The cost is not prohibitive--- $30-40 maybe. Small price to pay for peace of mind.

If I found a dog, that is the first thing I would do --- have the dog scanned.
Just my 2¢ ...
