How many microchipped dogs do you? How many of those that are microchipped have cancer? |
I can't answer for others Kyle, I personally know of no dogs that have got cancer in this way. However, the effects of substances that may cause cancer are often not known for years, decades even as I mentioned before. There have been instances where something originally deemed safe, later turned out not to be so. Until they can offer proof this won't happen, I'll err on the side of caution.
And honestly, I've not heard of that many cases of a microchipped dog being returned due to their mircochip. I'm sure it has happened, just as it has that dogs with tags and/or tattoos have been returned. Basically I think lost dogs are all at the mercy of whomever finds them and if they going to return them, they will regardless of the dogs identification method.
