We rescued our little Gracie from an abusive home. She is an absolute sweetie, but is so very attached to us that we are unable to leave her alone at all.

She will stay in a crate, as long as someone is right in the room with her but if we leave the room for even 1 minute, she goes crazy. The only way we are able to leave the house is to put her in a room with our other 2 little ones.

Any suggestions about getting her to settle down in the crate. As she was abused, she is extremely afraid of loud noises. We are trying to make her life with us as "UN" tramatic for her as we can because we want to make up for the abuse she has had in her young life. She is only 11 months old.
