So many people just don't get it...our dogs are our babies. I would pay whatever I could afford if Lacy had a problem. She has LP too and may need surgery one day but so far hasn't been bothered by it at all and I'm hoping she never will be. But if she ends up needing surgery, I'll have it done. I also would only use an orthopedic specialist...only the best for our babies.
Honestly, your sister shouldn't have told anyone how much Tatum's surgery would cost without your permission...that is no one's business but your own...and people should only know if you want to tell them. People are ignorant...I bet they'd pay that amount to fix their car is they got in a wreck....so why wouldn't you spend that amount on a living, breathing family member. You can't just replace a dog like you can a car or a tv
