My Recon is about 88 pounds and plays wonderfully with the little dogs. I also have a pit that lives next door to me that LOVES my yorkie. Some one here on this post made a comment about not letting your dog play with pits. If the dog is socialized with small dogs such as a yorkie then by all means let the kids play. This goes for any breed. Heck Preslee has pit bull friends, doberman friends, rottweiler friends and so on.
