Default Don't believe in

restricting a puppy's food. If he is still hungry then feed him. Trying to keep him small and lightweight is not a good idea. A hungry dog will develop behavioral issues related to food and will become quite possessive and possibly aggressive. A dog whose hunger is satisfied makes a happy, healthy puppy. If you make food an issue (and IMHO you are) you are asking for problems. Judging by your pups current weight, he should be between 7-9 pounds, not a large dog by any means. Please do yourself and your pup a favor and feed him when he is hungry.
