Approximately 3 weeks.
Week 1 - Known as coming in (swealling)
Week 2 - Known as showing color
Week 3 - Known as going out (breeding at this time is done any time from)
Heat Cycles average around 6 - 8 months.. First heat cycle may not happen until as late as 16 months of age.
First time breeding on any female shouldn't be done until 18 months of age or 2nd 8 cycle.
