What you want to feed her is high quality protein that is easy for her liver to process. Cottage cheese, tofu, eggs, whitefish and chicken are just a few. Red meat is not recommended. Venison is red meat and I believe duck is too. Wellness makes a whitefish and sweet potato food that would be a better choice. |
the vet wont talk abotu food with us. she only suggest food and she also preoceeded to tell me one time that "food" doesn't really help a condition, onl medication does. So with her telling me that- I wouldn't trust her for anything even if she were to give me the idea of athe magic diet for my girls. not a chance- I will never discuss food with her again. all she wants to do is prescribe hills- and she hates when i talk about yt and hates when i put down pres diets. she told me i can home cook but she never tells me what to use of how to go about it. and- she tells me this in all of about 2 min. she will not spend the time with me- and we cannot switch vets. people keep telling me that and it just isn't going to happen. there is a vet on every corner and my friend that is the vet tech at an emerg vet told me to stay clear away from them. none are good or THAT GOOD.... and she knows that yorkies to not belong ni the hands of just "ANY" vet. plus i have a feeling that we are on our way to be seeing the specialist anyway- he is about 25 miles away, i hope samie does ok in the car for that long. she gets tooooooo excited and then we have ct issues. very scary.
