We started by leaving our babies out for short periods, while we went to the store and such and gradually increased our time away from them. Rosie and Jack now have free run of the house all day and night , even if we are not home, but we only allow Gracie the run of one room which we have puppy proofed, if we can't be home with her. Jack is a little over a year old, Rosie is 2 years old and Gracie will be a year old next month.
