Well, that is true about the air bags can definitely harm our pets, but I have to say an air bag saved Katie's life. We were in a pretty bad wreck.

I used to let Katie ride on my arm in front of my chest. We were coming home from a vet visit. Upon impact, I felt Katie leave my chest. Then the air bag blew up. She was thrown back into my chest where I was able to catch her and held on for dear life. You know how things can seem like slow motion.

After my DH got to the scene and the cops were done, Katie was taken back to the vet and she checked out just fine. I, on the other hand, had cracked ribs.

She now has a console seat and is strapped in. I shudder to think what COULD have happened!
