I am glad Rusty is OK. Reading what the vet said, I can see how that would be "minor." Obviously you can see it better than I can, but from the pictures it looks like just the top layer of skin was cut, and he didn't hit anything major (like all the tissue you see inside of it). I think it would have been "major" if that had been cut.
Regardless, I bet it hurt a lot and I'm sure you're going to give him lots of love!
