is to Come. Your dog must learn that when you say come, he comes. This is for his protection. Get a long lead, attach to your dogs harness and attach the other end to you (belt loop whatever) keep attached at all times (except when you leave the house for work, whatever) Make sure that the lead is long enough so that the dog can wander off (I did mine mostly in my apartmetn, about 30 feet long). Call the dog, if he does not come, reel him in. When he comes, he gets a treat and high praise. I did this for a few weeks and my dogs ALWAYS COME WHEN I CALL, NO MATTER WHAT. You need to have at least this command always obeyed. It may save your dogs life someday. Good luck |
