That is what we were thinking..that if he had fought w/ something, he would be hurt all over...and the other dogs would too.
They rarely go by our road --which is a dead end gravel road w/ only a few houses past us. But there were two trucks that I know of that went by while they were outside...but I don't think he got ran over because he wasn't muddy or hurt anywhere else.
DH said it looked like something sharp like a big knife or blade but that would mean that someone would have had to do that
or that he got under some farm equipment or something!
I just do NOT know!
AND it isn't that we don't watch our big dogs...we do...and they are spoiled rotten and pretty well behaved and pretty well trained....so I just don't know!
I am hoping the vet might be able to help us figure out something.
I am just sickened!
