I agree. If you do have a problem with lepto in your area, Fort Dodge makes a single dose vaccine for lepto only. Give it separately and wait several weeks in between other shots to do it. Also, wait at your vet's office for at least 45 minutes afterwards in case of a reaction as they can be life threatening.
It's important to remember for those of you whose dogs have already had a lepto shot with no problem that rarely do they react to the first shot. It's usually the second or even third shot that will cause the reaction.
