I have an american cocker...she is SUPER sweet. but kinda ditzy
she was super hyper and destructive as a pup...but as an adult (after about 18 months old) has been the best dog. she still gets into stuff all the time (I had a thread the other day about this) and still very ditzy, but the sweetest, most submissive dog in the world. she cracks us up because she can be laying next to us, we can move her and she just stays however we move her. we mess with her like that all the time
if we roll her over, she stays like that...legs up in the air...until we ask her to move.
she was very easy to potty train but I have heard the opposite about cockers. I have heard the "dribble" a lot. I have never had that problem with her..but literally, I have had people amazed by that. she does, however, sniff the spot where she was sitting if she gets excited..it's like she thinks she may have dribbled. it is very funny
It was easy to teach her lots of things...fetch or "go find it", "drop it", "high five", "sit", "down", "stay", "here", etc. very smart...but ditzy LOL
here is a pic of her. she is so beautiful...and LOVES to be groomed!!!!
