I don't fully understand your dilemma.

How are the vaccines that the SPCA are wanting to administer your pup different than the ones at your local current/normal vet?

Different manufacturer? Different combo in one vial (meaning a 3 in 1 instead of let's say a 4 in 1)?

By 6 (usually 4 months) months of age, many states, if not all require a dog have Parvo; Distemper; Bordetella; Rabies vaccines administered to them in order to be boarded, for example. Each establishment can require different vaccines been given in order to offer you service.

I hope this helps some.

Get educated about the different manufacturers of vaccines and what each does specifically to your dogs system, that would be my advice. There are pros and cons to vaccinating your pup.
