Well thankyou for your honesty! my last yorkie, Heidi, had her tail docked, I would rather she hadn't but it was already done when i picked her up at 8 weeks, that was 15 years ago. One thing i have noticed with Pixie is she is so good at 'dancing' on her back legs..especially when she wants something! it's so sweet to watch!
And i agree...I don't believe that docking is not painful for the pup...you are cutting through skin, muscle and bone and nerves....how could it not? and when their screeching becomes louder and more high pitched during the procedure,is that not an indication of discomfort? I have also read somewhere that pups will sometimes urinate during the procedure...another sign of feeling pain.
