My little guy as always peed like this. He never squatted. He thrusts his little hips forward and goes. I think he learned it from his dad since he was raised with his mom and dad present. I have puppy wipes, i think i got them at target, just like baby wipes, but are supposed to condition the hair and i just wipe him down with one. Mine doesn't really pee on himself and i think your's won't in time. I would guess it just means he's starting to become a man. Are his little man bits starting to drop? Also as far as licking and smelling I think most men would if they could.
