I use a rubber mallet and smash the treats to make them smaller.
I crush them and sometimes put it on their smashed up dog kibble.
I'd say at least ½ their dry food is granualted manually by me.
I leave some regular Yorkie size kibble in their bowls also, for their teeth.
But my girls are not only picky, but they are lazy and do not like to chew. (or that is how is seems to me, except Friday, she will chew ropes and all).

I believe Monday would eat the treat no matter what size, if she likes it.
