I am also having problems with my yorkie with leash training. I'm using a retractable leash and have a hardwood floor so if i let him walk around with the leash on it might scratch the floor and be too heavy for him to pull. It is too cold and snowy outside right now so i can't take him for a walk anyways. At home he would normally just sit there and stare at me the moment i put it on but when i took him to petsmart he happened to walk fine (except for when he saw other huge dogs past him he would use me as a shield and lay on my feet .)
Should i be worried about his behaviour and keep training in the house? and if i should how should i go about it?
