Okay so I think that I've been asking the wrong questions.
I think what I've been TRYING to ask is...
If I'm not planning on bringing home another puppy anytime soon.... (in fact, not even a puppy. When we move, we plan on rescuing an older dog)... What is the purpose of disinfecting my house? Is it to prevent Franklin from getting it again? CAN he get it again? Or am I just preventing the virus from being spread to other dogs?
I mean I'm still planning on disinfecting everything but I'm kind of just wondering why I'm doing all of this. Maybe if I knew why I'd have more conviction to do?
