Bleach unfortunately is the only thing that kills parvo. Any tips on what I should do to clean the furniture? I'm thinking about buying a spray bottle and keeping that on hand at all times but there are still some things that are not bleach safe like the couch... coffee table.. carpet..
We are glad to hear Franklin is home.

I am not sure what color your carpets are but if they are a lighter color you can put bleach in the water in your carpet cleaner and do your carpets that way. I would test a small section with the diluted strength and see if it discolors it. I was told to do that by my vet when a dog I had gotten from the shelter was sick. It worked really well for me. As for the hard surfaces just use diluted bleach water for that also. I would use papertowels and then throw them away.
