the difference is in the quality of yorkies that are registered in them in my opinion and my opinion only. ACA, i think, stands for American Canine Association. AKC is the second oldest dog registry in the U.S. Second only to UKC. (United Kennel Club) but with more dogs registered in it than UKC.
