Breeders/show people/exhibitors/zoo's/animal parks/circus's/traveling shows for many many many years have been shipping animals if it were truly that dangerous would it be the main choice of transport??? |

As I stated, *I* would not even consider it. I cannot speak for everyone on the planet that needs to move animals around. Only for myself. For me it was not an option. First of all it would mean buying a dog I hadn't even seen in person. Second it would mean dealing with the dangers of shipping. It was not a consideration any more than buying from a petshop, a newspaper ad, blah blah blah.
