I have no idea why they dock yorkies tales, but i do know why they dock lambs. If you don't dock a lambs tale it hangs straight down almost to the ground and they sh** on it. I don't know if this is the same for yorkies. My little guy has a nothing of a tale...i personally think he was docked a little short. but it's so cute when he wags it his whole back end wiggles.
